As we all know the next EliteXC event on CBS will be on October 4th and ProElite officials have said that Gina Carano (6-0) will compete at this event. Today sources are saying that Kelly Kobald - Gavin (16-2) (I guess she got married) could be her scheduled opponent not Cristiane Cyborg Santos as first expected.There has been no word yet if this fight may have implications on a possible womans division title fight as well. We will keep you up to date on this story as always. We previously reported this when Sherdog said the had conformation now other sites are reporting it as well so it seems more likely it will happen. Also for those of you who think she is ducking Cristiane Cyborg Santos, this was rumored before Cyborg beat Baszler.
