It has been revealed by a source from Fiveouncesofpain.com that lightweight "Sugar" Shane Nelson has been said to be one the members of the upcoming cast of TUF 8. Nelson who sports a record of 9-3 is training under the tutelage of UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn down in Hawaii. Nelson has fought most of his bouts in the Aloha State with wins over the likes of Kaleo Kwan and Harris Sarmiento.
The Ultimate Fighter 8 which will have heavyweights Frank Mir and UFC interim Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as the coaches will premiere September 17 following UFN 15 which will feature Clay Guida (23-9) vs Mac Danzig (18-4-1) along with Houston Alexander (8-3) taking on Eric Schafer (9-3-2) as the co - main event live on Spike TV.
