Former PRIDE veteran Kazuhiro Nakamura (11-8) was released by the UFC according to multiple sources. Nakamura who came to the UFC after the buyout of PRIDE FC went 0-2 in the UFC losing to Lyoto Machida (decision) and fellow former PRIDE fighter Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou at UFC 84:ill Will (TKO injury).
Nakamura has fought a who's who of top fighters in Japan and is well known and liked. Fighting top stars Dan Henderson, Shogun Rua, and Josh Barnett with mixed results always giving spirited performances win or lose. Now after his release from the UFC there is no doubt that either of Japan's newest organizations will be looking to sign Nakamura. Dream and WVR have both had a influx of talent spill over into their promotions. So my question to my viewers is where will Nakamura wind up in Dream or WVR?
