As the fledgling International Fight League continues to have its fighters leave in bunches the Japanese based World Victory Road organization has signed IFL Lightweight Champion Ryan "The Lion" Schultz (20-9-1) to a five event deal with his first fight taking place at WVR: Sengoku 4 against Mizuto Hirota (9-2) in part of the eight man lightweight grand prix tournament which will be held at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This will be Schultz first fight in Japan in more4 than two years. The other fighters competing in the tournament will Rodrigo Damm, Clay French, Eiji Mitsuoka and Kazunori Yokota. WVR: Sengoku will take place on August 24th.
