- According to various sources a final match has been added to WVR: Sengoku 4 as Kazuo Takahashi will be facing Valentijn Overeem. Now for the Sengoku 5 card it will feature a Middleweight tournament featuring former Pride fighters Kazuhiro Nakamura and Evangelista Cyborg Santos and Strikeforce Middleweight tournament winner Jorge Santiago. It will be the opening round of the tournament.

- According to MMAweekly.com James "Colosuss" Thompson will be appearing at Cage Rage 28 and will be facing Piotr Kiusmerz on September 20.

- Today is pretty slow as you can see we might start making stuff to entertain ourselves.

IFL Lightweight Champion Ryan "The Lion" Schultz signs with WVR

As the fledgling International Fight League continues to have its fighters leave in bunches the Japanese based World Victory Road organization has signed IFL Lightweight Champion Ryan "The Lion" Schultz (20-9-1) to a five event deal with his first fight taking place at WVR: Sengoku 4 against Mizuto Hirota (9-2) in part of the eight man lightweight grand prix tournament which will be held at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This will be Schultz first fight in Japan in more4 than two years. The other fighters competing in the tournament will Rodrigo Damm, Clay French, Eiji Mitsuoka and Kazunori Yokota. WVR: Sengoku will take place on August 24th.

WVR Sengoku 4 - Takanori Gomi gets confirmed opponent

World Victory Road - Sengoku 4 will have a four man tournament for its August 24 event in the Saitama Super Arena and Takanori Gomi's opponent will be Sung Hwan Pang. This will be the former Pride Lightweight Champion's 2nd fight in two years after the Zuffa buyout. Other fights that were confirmed for the event were.
