UR Dirt E "Quick Fix"


- According to MMAjunkie.com the UFC has signed Omaha native Jason Brilz (15-1-1) to a contract and could make his Octagon debut at UFN 15 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska on September 17. No opponent has been announced for Brilz at this time, but could be paired up to face Thales Leites who was originally supposed to face Dean Lister pulled out of the bout due to a knee injury. We will keep you up to date on a possible opponent for the newcomer.

- In a report out of Fiveouncesofpain.com EliteXC has signed another female fighter in the form of Michelle Watterson (2-2) who is nicknamed "The Karate Hottie" and will make her first cage appearance at an upcoming EliteXC event in September. She has fought for the Ring of Fire organization out of Colorado and recently got a second round TKO victory over Thricia Poovey at a King of the Cage event. No opponent has been announced for Watterson at this time.

- Who will acquire the services of Chris Horodecki? The former IFL fighter who is only 20 years young officially became a free agent when his former employers closed the doors last week and he already has several suitors looking to sign him. Among the organizations are the American Fight League, WEC and Affliction. We will keep a close eye on where the former IFL standout will go to compete.
