As Overeem has thrown the last verbal jab at Cro Cop calling the Croatian sensation a "Douche bag" in a recent interview. Now Cro Cop has countered with his own words in a recent blog post on MMA-ID, where he said he is now healthy and anticipating a fight with Overeem."I had no summer break, I'm 100% focused on getting back on track and I can promise you many great things from Cro Cop.Regarding September 23, I'm expect to fight, but nothing is still officially confirmed. I leave this to DREAM and I have no doubt that I'll be there on that card, fighting whoever they put me against. I'm hoping to face a top ranked fighter, preferably Alistair Overeem. As we all know Cro Cop recently fought for the UFC where he had a less than stellar run, pulling out only 1 win in 3 fights. Including losing back to back fights to Gabriel Gonzaga and Cheick Kongo and then leaving the UFC to return to Japan. Everyone knows Cro Cop is one of the most talented fighters in the world who has never got over that hump to becoming or beating an all time great. Maybe Overeem's trash talking will be the catalyst for the man who was once the most feared striker in all of MMA.
