There is a report stating that former UFC and Pride star Frank Trigg has signed a non - exclusive three fight deal with the Japanese based World Victory Road organization and will make his debut on Aug.24 at the WVR:Sengoku 4 event.There is also a rumor being spread around that Trigg is in talks with Strikeforce about possibly competing at their event at the Playboy Mansion as the organization is trying to get the show aired on NBC. A possible rematch between Trigg and Kazuo Misaki could be possible since Strikeforce has signed Misaki and WVR is gonna start a Middleweight tournament in the near future which would include Trigg and possibly Misaki as well. WVR had grown interest in Trigg while he was a guest announcer with TNA which is a pro wrestling organization. Trigg said "TNA is pretty big in Japan and it helped put my name back out there." Trigg's last fight was back in December with a win over Edwin Dewees at an HDNet Fights event.
