In a press release today the announce team was named for Affliction: Banned as former Pride analysts Jay Glazer and Frank Trigg along with former UFC referee "Big" John McCarthy will be calling the play by play duties at the inaugural event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Ca.July 19.
Famed MMA announcer Mauro Ranallo who was originally named to call the event was not announced, but will still be a part of the event with the Fight Network up in Canada and as for Frank Trigg who was named for the broadcast says that a deal has not been finalized as of yet, but is confident that an agreement will be reached. Jay Glazer is also a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX and was a announcer for EliteXC's inaugural show last February.
