Former UFC and Pride veteran Frank Trigg confirmed today that he will be fighting at the next World Victory Road event. This will be Trigg's first fight in Japan since fighting at Shooto in December of 2007. Trigg did announce for Pride in Japan, but did not fight there, his only appearence in a Pride ring came in a victory over former Pride Bushido winner Kazuo Misaki at Pride 33 in Las Vegas."Trigg today confirmed the Aug. 24 fight with MMAjunkie.com. We just finalized it with World Victory Road,” Trigg said. 
This will be Trigg's first fight since winning against Edwin Dewees at an HDNetFights event by beautiful kimura from bottom position. His rumored opponent is Makoto Takimoto a former Pride veteran who is coming off of a loss to Cyborg Evangelista at WVR 1.
