It seems imminent that a fight between former Pride OW Grand Prix Champion Mirko Cro Cop and Alistair Overeem are on a collision course to finally settle their differences with one another and it could possibly happen as soon as Dream 6 in late September. Overeem has said in the past that Cro Cop has been avaoiding a matchup with him for quite some time. Cro Cop is looking to end all the talk.

"I was asked by the members of media if I’m willing to fight Overeem since he challenged me twice already…I’m happy to accept his challenge and I’m looking forward to this fight as I believe that we can deliver an entertaining fight. Now it’s up to DREAM to make this fight happen, I’m ready to face my challenger on the next show already."
