Kevin Burns. Johnson who was winning both rounds was poked in the eye as Burns threw a faint with his hand open and then proceeded to throw an uppercut. Johnson went flying back screaming "My Eye", at first it appeared the uppercut had done the damage as Johnson stood on the floor in pain banging his hand on the Octagon floor. The fight was ruled a technical knockout and has remained a hot topic since then. Johnson who said earlier this week he and his agent Ken Pavia planned on appealing the fight updated us on the status of his eye. In a post on Myspace.com he wrote to his fans the following,
"Anthony "RUMBLE" Johnson MY EYE IS DOIN BETTER THE SURGERY WENT WELL. I FEEL LIKE A FREAKIN PIRATE WIT THIS PATCH OVER MY EYE "
