As we all know UFC president Dana White has been looking for years to get his promotion on network TV, twice already he has been close to deals and twice they have fallen through. Part of the reason is White does not want to have his product changed. One negotiation that fell through is a deal with HBO, the other with CBS who turned around and then brought EliteXC to its channel from Showtime. Now in a post on Fiveouncesofpain.com Dana White says he is close to a TV deal for the UFC, White said "We’re real close to a network. I’m going to say in three months.”This is not the first time we have heard this come out of White's mouth so I won't hold your breath if it doesn't come true. It does leave the question as to where the UFC would go to? Right now Fox and ABC are the only two that do not carry any MMA events so it may come down to them. (Please god not the WB or The My Network) CBS carries EliteXC and NBC carries Strikeforce who may have its second visit to The Playboy mansion televised live on network TV.
