There is a report out of ESPN saying that former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski (14-5) will make his debut in pro boxing on an HBO pay per view card on September 13th with Joel Casamayor vs Juan Manuel Marquez as the main event according to Golden Boy Promotions.UFC president Dana White who says he wanted to re-sign the former champ would've never let this happen just like he told current Middleweight champ Anderson Silva that he would not allow him to box Roy Jones Jr, but than again Arlovski is no longer with the UFC so he can do what he pleases now that he has a non exclusive deal with Affliction. Arlovski currently has boxing trainer Freddy Roach in his corner who has trained the likes of Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya. An opponent for Arlovski is yet to be announced.
