
Many of them are saying that their screen displayed “This channel will be available shortly.” The problem was widespread as people in Pennsylvania to Canada are all reporting the same problem with long customer service waits and no help once they did get it. This can not be good for Affliction's debut show sales numbers, especially if the customers get their wishes of not paying for the event. One thing that made no sense to me was why was there no 1:00 AM replay? People who missed the original broadcast could have easily watched it again at 1:00 AM, why was there no option to do so? I don't know if this was in every market, but here in New York I also had a problem that my DVR just stopped recording the event. My service provider is Time Warner and I have already told them I will not pay for the event. Unhappy customers and technical problems all around can not be a good sign for PPV revenue for the new company.
