It appears that two more newcomers will be making their octagon debuts as Dale Hartt (5-0) will face Shannon Gugherty (9-2) at UFN 14 at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas July 19th on SpikeTV. Also the UFC appears to have signed yet another fighter from the IFL as Miletich Fighting System standout and welterweight Rory Markham (14-4) is now aboard and could possibly have a match at UFN 14 vs yet another nooby in Brodie Farber (13-3). Markham is the fourth IFL fighter to come aboard the S.S. UFC along with Brad Blackburn, Reese Andy who will also make their debuts at UFN 14 and Andre Gusmao. Who's next? Ryan "The Lion" Schultz?
In other MMA news Joe "Diesel" Riggs (27-10) will step in for Shonie Carter (41-17-7) and face Luke Stewart (5-1) at Strikeforce: Melendez vs Thomson June 27th at the HP Pavilion Arena in San Jose, Ca. Riggs was tentatively scheduled to face Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos (16-11), but Santos couldn't obtain a visa in time for the show. Carter was taken off the bout due to a hand injury.
