As we all know Billionaire Donald Trump has now involved himself in the ever so growing sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) by becoming a partner with the new Affliction promotion. We here at URDirt.com ask ourselves what could "The Donald" bring to MMA? Well for starters Affliction made a great move in acquiring him as a partner. Trump pretty much guarantees that Affliction will have more shows to come after their inaugural event on July 19.
We also feel with Trump that with his great business and negotiating skills and the fact that he is a New Yorker I feel that he could be the man to help MMA get legalized in the State of New York. With the UFC and fighters such as Matt Serra and Matt Hamill spearheading the campaign to make it happen.Just imagine what Trump's involvement could do in the matter.As my colleague Alberto "The Narcisist" Martinez said in an earlier post "Just imagine if EliteXC had it's CBS televised event in Madison Square Garden or if The UFC had its 100th event there (UFC 100)".
