In an announcement made by ProElite, Inc. yesterday they have struck a deal to feature classic fights on FSN (Fox Sports Net) which will include combatants such as Kimbo Slice, Gina Carano and "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler. It will feature bouts from the past for EliteXC and the other promotions they have bought out such as ICON Sport, King of the Cage and Spirit MC. The show will be hosted by none other than Jay Glazer and Frank Trigg. If you remember Glazer and Trigg would host the same type of show for FSN with fights from the past for the PRIDE FC and like the old PRIDE replay show, so much of the same the show will be for EliteXC.
When the show debuts in September it will kick off with 4 one hour telecasts that will be on Sunday nights beginning at 9pm local time. Should the broadcast make decent ratings FSN would most likely extend it's deal with the organization.
