WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber (21-1) who just defended his title successfully against "Lil Evil" Jens Pulver who was previously undefeated at 145lbs in his career. There are reports that The California Kid might have a match coming up in September at WEC 35 and would defend his title against American Top Team's Mike Brown (17-4). Brown who is on a 7 fight win streak with wins over Jeff Curran and Yves Edwards over that span.
Should Faber be added to this card which already has a WEC Middleweight Title bout in a rematch between Paulo Filho taking on Chael Sonnen would make it yet another stacked card for the organization.
