Georges St.Pierre Contract update.

Georges St.Pierre said yesterday in a interview with the Vancouver Sun that he and the UFC were in the middle of contract negotiations. St.Pierre said he had two fights left on his deal and even hinted about the "Japanese" possibly looking to sign him. As we all know a fighter of his caliber would get a lot of interest from the UFC's competitors. St.Pierre cleared up any talk about leaving the UFC During an interview with MMAWeekly Radio last night UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St.Pierre was a guest and they spoke to him about speculation on leaving the organization when his contract expired. St.Pierre had this to say,

“I’m with the UFC, I have two more fights on my contract, and you know we’re in negotiations,” he continued “Everything is going well, you know. We’re talking and everything is good.” St.Pierre also said, “We’ll end up to an agreement, I’m sure. I like the UFC, I’m glad I’m champion, I want to represent the sport and also the UFC well.” and he concluded with, “The UFC, that’s what made me known, and if possible I want to retire there."
