The WEC will be selling tickets for their upcoming September 10 event on July, 21 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The card will be featuring top ranked and current WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber (21-1) defending his title against hometown favorite Mike Brown (19-4). Both fighters won back in June at WEC 34 with Faber defeating Jens Pulver and Brown defeating Jeff Curran and in the co - main event is a title rematch between WEC Middleweight Champion Paulo Filho (16-0) facing off once again with Chael Sonnen (20-9-1) in which Filho submitted Sonnen back in December at WEC 31 in what appears to be a controversial loss for Sonnen as he claims that he did not tapout. Sonnen won in his last fight at WEC 33 via unanimous decision over Bryan Baker. We will keep you posted on other confirmed WEC 36 bouts.
