
UFC 89 in Brimingham, England is beginning to take shape as three new fights were officially annonced by the UFC today to be taking place at the event. Shane Carwin (9-0) who KO'd Christian Wellisch in under a minute in his first fight in the Octagon at UFC 84:ill Will, is set to face fellow Heavyweight Neil Wain (4-0). Carwin and Wain are both very highly touted new signees for the UFC. Carwin is a two time NCAA Wrestling Champion, trains in Boxing under Trevor Wittman and has a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Nate Marquardt. Neil Wain is a tough fighter who is 4-0 and was scratched from his first fight in the Octagon against Antoni Hardonk after suffering a broken nose while training. He was replaced by Eddie Sanchez on short notice after Wain's injury.
