Quinton Rampage Jackson who lost his belt to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86 last weekend was arrested on felony suspicion of evading, hit & run and recklessness Tuesday. Rampage lead police on a pursuit from Costa Mesa to Newport Beach. Police are saying Rampage hit at least 3 cars and allegedly left crashed cars, flat tires and sparks in the wake of the police pursuit.

"The driver hit two cars at 19th Street and Newport Boulevard, then drove away at about 1:13 p.m., Lt. Paul Dondero said. A Costa Mesa police officer saw the driver southbound approaching 17th Street and tried to pull him over, police said. There, he hit at least one more car before continuing to run, now heading south toward the Balboa Peninsula, Dondero said. Some time after that, the truck blew a tire but continued to drive on its rims, Dondero said."

This could not come at a worse time for Rampage as he is trying to focus on getting himself back in shape and into the Octagon to regain his title. No statement has been made from the UFC or Jackson's management at this time.
