We updated a story earlier on Quinton Rampage Jackson's condition and he is getting better and we wish him all the best in his recovery mentally,
but SI.com reporter Josh Gross mentioned that Rampage has let go of his trainer and friend Juanito Ibarra. There is no reason as to why Rampage would do such a thing to the man that helped put him at the top of his game and make him the top fighter in the division overall. They must've had some kind of falling out sometime after the title match against Forrest Griffin, but nobody knows.
Gross would also go on to say that if things are going well with Rampage that the UFC would be interested in setting up a November matchup between him and his long time arch rival Wanderlei Silva. For all you MMA fans that don't know Wanderlei Silva has beaten Rampage in their two meetings back in the old PRIDE days with Silva knocking out Rampage viciously; especially in the second fight (back at PRIDE 28: High Octane). As much as fans would love to see that fight happen (for a 3rd time) the important thing is that Rampage is 100 percent physically and mentally healthy before any of that can possibly happen.
