As many of you know BJ Penn has made no secret about wanting to avenge his controversial decision loss at UFC 58 to current Welterweight Champion Georges St.Pierre. BJ has rededicated himself in the gym and improved his cardio and focus since their last meeting. BJ has captured the 155 pound Lightweight title and St.Pierre has gone on to win the 170 pound title twice. This would be an epic battle of two fighters at their prime in a UFC super fight.
Five Ounces of pain.com is reporting that they are being told through sources that a rumored fight is being set for December 27. The only hold up is that Georges St.Pierre must get passed Jon Fitch at UFC 87: Seek and Destroy in a few weeks. Dana White previously confirmed the fight possibility in an interview a month back but no date was mentioned.
