UPDATE- This fight is looking more likely as various sources are claiming to have the event all but confirmed.
In a report according to Yahoo!Sports.com indicates that Affliction is looking into having it's
October event in "Dana's Town" of Las Vegas, Nevada where the UFC holds the majority of their events and if that isn't big enough news they also reported that the first ever WAMMA Heavyweight Champion of the world Fedor Emelianenko could be fighting and defending his title against another former UFC Heavyweight Champion in Andrei Arlovski. This is a fight that fans would never think would happen.
Should this fight come to fruition I would have to say that with the UFC having two events in the month of October (UFC 89 and 90) that this would be Affliction's counter strategy to competing with the UFC. This is truly a great year for mixed martial arts.
