As we all know Dana White in the past has been very vocal about Fedor's competition and critical about his quality of opponents using it do discredit the former Pride Champion. Yesterday after finding out Fedor had beaten his former Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia in 36 seconds he had this to say in a interview with Yahoo!sports."It does (change my opinion). Tim Sylvia was a real opponent. But my opinion that Anderson Silva is still the world’s best fighter has not changed. Not at all. Do you even need to ask me after that?”
This comes as a bit of a shock for fans who have followed the UFC and MMA in general over the past couple of years. White is not known for ever complimenting in a positive way towards fighters who fight for other organizations.
