In an interview with MMAnews.com former Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell said he feels he deserves a title shot if he defeats Rashad Evans at UFC 88: Breakthrough in Atlanta. Which is interesting if you consider the amount of top talent close to title shots right now. Thiago Silva who was rumored last week to possibly be fighting former Chute Boxe teammate and Pride Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva. There is also the man no one wants to fight right now in Lyoto Machida who is coming off of a win over Tito Ortiz and 13 straight wins overall with no losses. Chuck also said he was offered a fight with Shogun Rua again but the fight was not until November or December when he returned from a problematic knee injury which has kept him out of action the whole year.My question to you is, if Chuck Liddell beats Rashad Evans does he deserve another title shot at the winner of Jackson Vs Griffin?
