UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva (21-4) will fight for the first time at 205 lbs against James "The Sandman" Irvin (14-4) on July 19 at UFN 14. This event takes the September card which was to be the segway for TUF 8. Also added to this card will be Frankie Edgar Vs Hermes Franca. MMArated.com was first to report the news this morning. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirmed the news about Hermes Franca and Frankie Edgar. These of course are all tactics by the UFC and Dana White to undercut Affliction: Banned which makes its debut show on the same night on PPV for $39.99. This card was put together in less than a week and has now made July the hottest month in all of MMA with Dream, Affliction, EliteXC and the UFC (2 Shows) all having shows."My 2 Cents"This is good news for all MMA fans now because if you own a DVR you're OK if not you better buy one. This will 100% hurt Affliction's PPV buys by mainstream fans. Will Affliction counter by attempting to make its debut on Fox?
