Hayato "Mach" Sakurai Vs Nick Diaz at Dream 5 on July 21st for the Dream Welterweight Championship.

Nick Diaz who recently at Dream 3 after an on again off again bout with Katsuya Inoue will face off against Hayato Mach Sakurai at Dream 5 in Osaka Japan. MMAweekly.com was first to report this and Diaz said "I am looking forward t omy nest fight against Sakurai for the Welterweight Championship".

This is going to be a War Mach is coming off of a loss at Shooto and always comes prepared to knock out his opponent. Diaz on the other hand will fight on June 14 th for EliteXC against Muhsin Corbbrey, making this Diaz 3rd fight in as many months. If Diaz comes in on a win streak uninjured this could be explosive, especially after seeing Diaz struggle against Mike Aina and losing to KJ Noons at earlier EliteXC promotions.

JZ Calvancante out for 3 to 4 months.

JZ Calvancante is injured and will be out 3 to 4 months with a knee injury with a torn ACL, The American top team star recently lost a decision to Rainbow pants king and former Pride star Shinya Aoki by decision at Dream 2.

A lot of people where bummed by JZ's injury that forced him out of Yarrenoka on NYE maybe the injury was needed more time to heal. Either way JZ has won the last 2 K-1 Heroes tournaments and I really feel got screwed out a TKO victory at Dream 1. So good luck healing JZ hope your back on a war path soon.
