At the weigh-ins for the EliteXC:Return of the King event lightweight contender Nick Diaz does not make the 160lb.weight limit. However;Diaz did notify EXC along with Corbbrey's camp ahead of time feeling that he (Diaz) might miss weight,so Corbbrey agreed to take the fight at a catchweight of 168lbs.Corbbrey will get a piece of Diaz's fight purse.

Diaz fought at last month's Dream 3 against Katsuya Inoue at 170lbs. All other fighters on the card make weight.

Fresh off the heels of their announcement that their first Saturday night fights had a total of 6.5 million viewers. Yahoosports.com is reporting that CBS has asked EliteXC to put a fight card together for July 26, a mere 6 weeks from now. Could we possibly see a rematch between Scott Smith and Robbie Lawler at this event?

I personally would love to see Eddie Alvarez on national TV but as we all know he is fighting at the next Dream card a week earlier, as is Nick Diaz. Kimbo is recouperating as is Gina Carano. The only other logical match would be Antonio "Pezao" Silva fighting for a Heavyweight Championship belt. Also another interesting note would be if the IFL folds could some of their stars be signed in time to fight at EliteXC?

Fabiano Waggney fighting on national TV would be nice or even Vladimir Vs Tito 2 for the EliteXC light heavweight belt. No one has even seemed to notice that Vladimir is on a 8 fight win streak with wins over Tim Boetsch (UFC) and Anthony Ruiz. Vladimir maybe the most underrated fighter at 205 right now. So just imagine how much EliteXC can improve its roster over the next 6 weeks with guys who have already fought on national TV in the IFL?
