Sherdog.com has got the official video interview with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Adrei Arlovski has signed with Affliction. The fight is a 3 fight deal with Affliction and will officially fight Ben Rothwell at its debut show Affliction: Banned. Rothwell has previously announced on message board forums but no official word came from Arlovski or Affliction. This is just another solid heavyweight fight Affliction has added to their July 19th card."My 2 Cents"
The UFC may be resting on the fact they have lost Heavyweight Champions in their prime in the past to other organizations (Pride got Ricco Rodriguez, Josh Barnett and Mark Kerr). This is the first time they have lost them to American organizations especially one with a financial backing like Affliction now will have with the partnership they will announce today with Donald Trump.
This also sparks the question. Why is the UFC letting its past stars go to other organizations where they can sell PPVs and potentially hurt the UFC?
