It has been confirmed that welterweight contender Karo Parisyan will be competing on the August 9 UFC 87 event at the Target Center in Minnesota.Parisyan who suffered a Second round TKO loss to American Top Team standout Thiago Alves at UFN 13 in Colorado is looking to get back on the winning track;so he can once again work his way back into contention for the 170lb.welterweight title.An opponent is yet to be announced.
The American Fight League a Kentucky based MMA organization made their biggest signing yet as former WWE star Bobby Lashley agrees to a non exclusive deal with the up and coming promotion.The AFL which will have it's Bulletproof show tonight at the Philips Arena in Atlanta will make the announcement during the event.Lashley is the second WWE performer to get into MMA as Brock Lesnar is competing for the UFC.
And speaking of Lesnar his matchup with the"Texas Crazy Horse"Heath Herring is now official for UFC 87:Seek and Destroy in Minnesota August 9.

Despite Brock losing to Frank Mir he was very impressive.I think Lashley will do just as good.Maybe even better.As for Lesnar I believe he will rebound with an even stronger showing against Herring;but than again anything can happen in MMA.
