Exclusive interview Nick Diaz "I want that little bitch to come to Stockton"

So as you know we were first to report (click here to read rumor article) that Nick Diaz and KJ Noons would be approached to fight at the July 26 card for EilteXC on CBS. We have been trying all day to get official word out of anyone we could from EliteXC, so all props goes to Diaz Domination from Sherdog.com who helped us get this interview.

We got a hold of Nick Diaz on the phone and we asked him if he was out of the Dream 5 card?
"Yeah they (EliteXC) pulled me out for their (Dream) card in case the July 26 card winds up happening in Stockton."
When I asked him if the fight was official he responded,
"No its not 100% yet. They are trying to make sure it is happening in Stockton first".
So if this fight happens in Stockton (California) will you fight in it?
"Yeah, I want that little bitch to come to Stockton".
Is the five weeks enough training time for you to fight?
"Yeah, I'm ready to go".
Is your cut fully healed?
"Oh yeah its fine now I'm much better, I got the surgery and it made me Superman now".

So we will keep you updated on any other news we hear about this card.

Just seen the UFC 2009 Trailer

Okay I just saw the UFC 2009 Undisputed trailer and I have to admit its promising, the game play still looked like a game in development a bit stiff, but good polish at the end can get it over the top. The characters at first looked a bit dull, but towards the end of the trailer it explained why the screen shots we saw yesterday looked as they did. The fighters were not shown sweating, towards the end we did get to see a lot more detail on the character models.

Little things I noticed
- Forrest does not throw spin kicks, but it might have been used to show of the game play mechanic than Forrest's weapons.

- The ground and pound looked stiff and like a button masher at first when Rampage was on top dropping hammer fists. Its still early so it lacks polish so it will improve.

-The reversals looked sweet when Forrest reversed Rampage's ground control.

-The Rampage slam looked sweet when Forrest was trying to catch him in an armbar.

- The stand up when punching looked a bit stiff also but bugs can be worked out.

-Graphically I was impressed once they began to sweat and they became more detailed.

The game has a lot of promise I cant wait to play it when it comes out hopefully the rumor of a Xbox Live and PS3 Demo are true. I cant wait to get my hands on it because this just made my worries go away a bit.

TUF 7 fight bonuses

Justin Hazelett won $40,000 in fight bonuses yesterday in his armbar win over Josh Burkman on the preliminary card of last nights TUF 7 finale. Hazelett won $20,000 for submission of the night and another $20,000 for fight of the night which Burkman also received.

Hazelett so far has had 2 impressive showings in a row. The last one came in a loss to Josh Koscheck earlier in the year. Hazelett gave Koscheck a tough time until he was rocked with a head kick by Koscheck and was finished.

The only other bonus went to Drew McFredries for
Knockout of the night in his win over Marvin Eastman. McFredries took home $20,000 also in a slugfest with the 38 year old Eastman.

If you missed Hazelett vs Burkman and would like to watch it go to UFC.com where you can see it for free.

Credeur test positive for Adderall

So fans who were pumped to see TUF 7 fighter Tim Credeur fight fellow cast mate Cale Yarbrough were dissapointed when Credeur tested positive for Adderall. The event was trimmed down from 11 to 10 fights at the last minute according to MMAweekly.com, because Credeur admitted to using the banned substance right before the fights and weight-ins.
Keith Kizer NSAC.
"Adderall "acts as a cardio-vascular restrictor and that's the main reason it's banned because it can cause athletes to have a cardiac episode with the stress they're under when they're in an athletic competition. Secondly, it can have a performance-enhancing effect as well.
There will be no disciplinary action taken towards Credeur by the NSAC. "We found out about it beforehand, and he was very honest with us about it yesterday."

Damn that sucks it takes away a fight in the spot light for both fighters. At least he was honest and confessed but a lot of people must be dissapointed in Tim for not watching what was on the banned substance list. This guy has heart also and I was really looking forward to seeing him and Cale fight. Usually TUF cast members improve leaps and bounds by the first show I thought both these two fighters showed a lot of promise.
